• How far in advance do I need to reserve the space?

The timing of reserving a space for your ceremony or reception varies. The most popular months for weddings are May through October. To reserve a particular date, we suggest calling as soon as possible, as prime dates will fill up 12–18 months in advance. It never hurts to call and ask about availability if your wedding date is sooner.

  • When can I decorate the room?

The time that you will be able to decorate your room will be determined approximately two weeks prior to your wedding. The standard time for a late afternoon or evening wedding is 2:00 p.m. the day of the wedding.

  • Can I have my rehearsal dinner at Lied Lodge?

Yes. Lied Lodge offers a variety of venues and menus to suit your tastes. We also have rooms available for breakfast and gift opening.

  • I would like to schedule a site visit – when are you available and how much time should I allow?

On your initial visit, please allow one hour to meet with the wedding manager. Your meeting will take place Tuesday – Friday as Saturdays tend to be the busiest days due to weddings taking place. Please have your questions prepared ahead of time as this will save time during the visit. Additional planning appointments will be determined by the detail and style of your wedding. To set up an appointment, please call 402-873-8797.

  • What happens if I plan an outdoor ceremony and it rains?

If there is rain the day of your wedding, the ceremony can be held in your reception room. If you have reserved the Historic Barns, the event will go on as planned, as vinyl walls/flaps can be rolled down in rainy weather to keep everything inside the barns dry. Also, the East Barn can then be utilized for the ceremony location.

  • Can I bring my own food or caterer?

All food, with the exception of the wedding cake and mints, must be supplied through the Lied Lodge culinary team.

  • Can I bring in my own wine, champagne, or other alcohol for the reception?

All alcohol must be purchased through Lied Lodge.

  • Does Lied Lodge have a bridal suite?

Lied Lodge has a variety of bridal suite options. The Junior King Suite features a king-sized bed, oversized bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchenette and a sofa with chaise and ottoman. The Hospitality Suite features a bathroom, kitchenette, sofa, and a generous-sized table and chairs. The Boardroom features a conference room with a generous-sized table and chairs with a separate room complete with a bathroom, kitchenette, and seating area. All suites are based on availability.

  • What do the guest rooms cost, and can I book my reception there without reserving guest rooms?

To reserve a wedding at Arbor Day Farm, a minimum number of Lied Lodge guest rooms is required. The cost of rooms varies based on the time of the year. Please call our wedding manager at 402-873-8797 for details.
