Bird Day was designed as a special celebration for school children to learn more about birds as part of their nature study.

While serving as U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, J. Sterling Morton, helped promote Bird Day observances along with Arbor Day.

Arbor Lodge will share the history of Bird Day’s now-forgotten holiday and offer guests the opportunity to learn more about birds while participating in a feathered friend scavenger hunt.

Free with Admission.
